An Oriental orchid kept for its broad, handsome leaves, good to look at all year.
Oriental orchid (dongyangnan) is sent in Korea for an opening, a promotion or a new post, and the leaf is the point of it. A pale yellow margin edges each blade, which sets this one apart from the plain green sorts.
It flowers three or four times a year, with a quiet scent. The pot is dark ceramic, cut through with a pattern, and a pink ribbon reading 祝 昇進 — congratulations on your promotion — is tied about it.
Suitable for an opening, a promotion, an inauguration, or a housewarming.

Promotions, new posts, formal thanks — the Korean orchid is what people send when the occasion calls for restraint. It flowers for a long time and the foliage stays neat on a desk or in a reception area.
That depends on the season and on the plant. Some go out in flower, some with the spike still rising. If it matters that it arrives in bloom, tell us before you order and we will check what we have that day.

Your message and your name, printed as you write it. Four-character Chinese phrases such as 祝 昇進 are the convention here, but English or Korean is fine — we print exactly what you type.
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
A Korean cymbidium whose broad, handsome leaves can be enjoyed all year. A pale yellow marking along the leaf margin sets it apart from an orchid that is green alone. The quietly scented flowers can be seen three or four times a year. Planted in a dark ceramic container and finished with a 「祝 昇進」 ribbon. Sent for an opening, a promotion, an inauguration or a housewarming.
A cymbidium in a ceramic pot is the traditional Korean gift for a promotion, a retirement, a new office or a formal congratulation. It is understood as the dignified choice — restrained rather than showy — and it is usually placed where visitors will see it.
A ribbon carrying your name and the occasion phrase is attached to the pot, so please write the sender name exactly as you want it read.
