An Oriental orchid sending up several slender, long leaves.
Oriental orchids are the leaf-patterned orchids of Korea, China and Japan, and this is the plain green sort. In Korea a pot like this is what you send to mark a promotion, a move up, a new post or a change of premises, where a formal word is called for.
It is planted in a white pot and finished with a purple ribbon. We write the ribbon to suit the occasion you are sending it for.
Keep it somewhere bright out of direct sun, and water well once the surface of the compost has dried.

Promotions, new posts, formal thanks — the Korean orchid is what people send when the occasion calls for restraint. It flowers for a long time and the foliage stays neat on a desk or in a reception area.
That depends on the season and on the plant. Some go out in flower, some with the spike still rising. If it matters that it arrives in bloom, tell us before you order and we will check what we have that day.

Your message and your name, printed as you write it. Four-character Chinese phrases such as 祝 昇進 are the convention here, but English or Korean is fine — we print exactly what you type.
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
Slim, long leaves rise in numbers. Planted in a white container and tied with a purple ribbon. This is the form sent where a degree of formality is expected — a promotion, a transfer, an inauguration, a move. Keep it in a bright spot out of direct sun and water thoroughly once the surface soil has dried. We letter the ribbon to suit the occasion you are sending it for.
A cymbidium in a ceramic pot is the traditional Korean gift for a promotion, a retirement, a new office or a formal congratulation. It is understood as the dignified choice — restrained rather than showy — and it is usually placed where visitors will see it.
A ribbon carrying your name and the occasion phrase is attached to the pot, so please write the sender name exactly as you want it read.
