A funeral wreath built on a broad white board, with the flowers set above it.
The board carries the words of condolence in large characters, so they can be read from across the room. Above it white chrysanthemums are packed into a tapering block, with yellow lilies laid over the top, and dark green leaves open out behind like the ribs of a fan.
Tributes of this kind are stood at the entrance to the mourning room, where callers pass them on the way in. The white sashes to either side are lettered down their length with the sender's organisation and name.

Before you send one
- When Day one or day two of the funeral. On the morning of the burial the mourning room is cleared, and there is nowhere left to stand a wreath.
- Where The name of the funeral home and the room number is enough. If you only have the notice you were sent, paste it in and we will read it.
- Time Tell us when the mourners are expected and we deliver before then.
- If the room is full When wreaths are already lined up outside, a memorial basket or a two-tier piece is better — both stand inside the room.
- Fresh flowers only Every wreath is made with new flowers. We do not reuse arrangements.

What goes on the sash?
謹弔 with your name, or the name of your company. English is fine too — we print exactly what you write.
How late can I order?
Send it on day one or two of the funeral. If the burial is the next morning and time is short, message us on the live chat first and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
Korean funerals are unfamiliar to me. What is expected?
A standing wreath at the entrance of the mourning room is the usual form, sent in the name of a person or a company. White chrysanthemums are standard. You do not need to know more than the funeral home and the room number — we handle the rest.
Can I change or cancel the order?
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
Panel Wreath (hudaji)
A large white panel forms the base with the flowers set above it. The panel carries the condolence phrase 「삼가 故人의 冥福을 빕니다」 in large characters so it can be read from a distance; above it white chrysanthemum fills a trapezoid with yellow lilies laid over. Dark green foliage is spread behind like the ribs of a fan. The sender’s organisation and name are lettered down the white ribbons on either side.
How a Korean funeral wreath works
A standing wreath is the customary way to express condolences at a Korean funeral. It is delivered to the funeral hall and stood in or beside the mourning room, with two ribbons: one carrying the condolence phrase and one carrying your name.
Korean funerals usually run for three days and the mourning room is open around the clock, so same-day delivery matters. Please give the room number — funeral halls hold several rooms at once and the name alone is not enough to find the family.
