White chrysanthemums are ringed round the rim with yellow lilies at the centre, and dark green leaves open behind them in a wide radiating fan. There are no stand legs, so it needs no floor space of its own; it is set straight down on the altar or on the ground.
Where the usual Korean tribute is a tall tripod wreath at the door, a basket like this is meant to be close to the portrait. The white sash carries the words of condolence and the sender's organisation and name.

Before you send one
- When Day one or day two of the funeral. On the morning of the burial the mourning room is cleared, and there is nowhere left to stand a wreath.
- Where The name of the funeral home and the room number is enough. If you only have the notice you were sent, paste it in and we will read it.
- Time Tell us when the mourners are expected and we deliver before then.
- If the room is full When wreaths are already lined up outside, a memorial basket or a two-tier piece is better — both stand inside the room.
- Fresh flowers only Every wreath is made with new flowers. We do not reuse arrangements.

What goes on the sash?
謹弔 with your name, or the name of your company. English is fine too — we print exactly what you write.
How late can I order?
Send it on day one or two of the funeral. If the burial is the next morning and time is short, message us on the live chat first and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
Korean funerals are unfamiliar to me. What is expected?
A standing wreath at the entrance of the mourning room is the usual form, sent in the name of a person or a company. White chrysanthemums are standard. You do not need to know more than the funeral home and the room number — we handle the rest.
Can I change or cancel the order?
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
Portrait Basket (large)
The larger size of the condolence basket placed beside the portrait of the deceased or on the altar. It has no standing legs, so it needs no floor space of its own — it sits on the floor or on the altar as it is. The condolence phrase and the sender’s organisation and name are lettered on the white ribbon.
How a Korean funeral wreath works
A standing wreath is the customary way to express condolences at a Korean funeral. It is delivered to the funeral hall and stood in or beside the mourning room, with two ribbons: one carrying the condolence phrase and one carrying your name.
Korean funerals usually run for three days and the mourning room is open around the clock, so same-day delivery matters. Please give the room number — funeral halls hold several rooms at once and the name alone is not enough to find the family.
