A firm woody stem carrying a full head of small, glossy leaves.
The leaves are little and polished, so they pick up the light wherever a lamp falls on them. In Korea the plant is sent as a wish for wealth and good fortune.
It likes a bright room rather than direct sun, and a spot where the air moves. Water it well once the surface of the compost has dried out.
Planted in a white square column pot. It stands easily on an office floor or in a shop.

Looking after it
- Light Bright indoors, out of direct sun. Scorched leaves do not grow back.
- Water When the top of the soil is dry, water until it runs out of the bottom. Little and often does more harm than good.
- Air Somewhere the air moves. Roots suffer in a closed corner.
- Winter Keep it above 10°C and out of the path of a heater.
- Leaves Wipe the dust off now and then. Clean leaves breathe.

A plant or a wreath for an opening?
A wreath stands outside on the day and announces the opening to everyone passing. A plant stays in the shop afterwards. Many people send a wreath for the day and a plant for the years after.
What size should I choose?
Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.
Will I know it arrived?
We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.
Can I change or cancel the order?
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
Heptapleurum A — 1.5 m with the pot
Small, shining leaves grow abundantly above a firm woody stem. In Korea it stands for wealth and good fortune. About 1.5 m including the pot. The leaf surface carries a gloss, so it shows particularly well under lighting. It prefers a bright room to direct sun and likes air movement; water generously once the surface soil has dried well. Planted in a white square column pot.

Potted foliage plants are the usual gift when a shop, office or clinic opens in Korea. They are placed by the entrance or the reception desk and stay there — the gift is meant to last rather than to be admired for a day.
