A snake plant, its leaves edged in yellow and held straight up.
The leaves taper to a point, and the blades are banded crossways in light and dark green. It is planted in a grey square pot, the soil covered with white gravel and a few turned wooden beads set on top.
The pot has height to it, so the leaves come up to eye level even standing on the floor. A shape that sits well inside a newly opened office or just inside a shop door — in Korea a foliage plant is sent for an opening and kept there for years.

A wreath stands outside on the day and announces the opening to everyone passing. A plant stays in the shop afterwards. Many people send a wreath for the day and a plant for the years after.
Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.
We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
Blade leaves edged with a yellow margin stand straight up, tapering to a point, the surface banded across in light and dark green. Planted in a square grey container, the soil topped with white gravel and finished with a wooden craft bead. The container has height, so even standing on the floor the leaves come to eye level — a shape that suits the entrance of a new office or shop.
It will live in almost any light, from a bright window to a dim corner, though it grows faster with some light. Water is the main risk: let the soil dry out completely, then water it once, roughly every three to four weeks, and less in winter. Standing water in the saucer will rot the roots.
The snake plant is the standard opening gift for a shop, office or clinic in Korea — it survives an owner who is too busy to water anything, and it is also sent for a promotion, a new office or a housewarming. It is usually stood by the entrance or the reception desk and left there.
A printed ribbon carrying your name and the occasion phrase is attached to the pot, so please give the sender name exactly as you want it read. Delivered anywhere in South Korea within three hours, and we send you a photograph of the plant in place once it arrives. If the pot or plant size shown is unavailable on the day, we substitute the closest equivalent and tell you before we deliver.
