A variegated lady palm, its fanned leaves marked with yellow down the length.
Each leaf splits from a single point into several long fingers, so it sits open like a hand, and those leaves are carried in tiers up the stem. The ground colour is a dark green with a pale yellow stripe running lengthways, which lifts the plant above a foliage plant of plain green.
It is planted in a teal ceramic pot incised with a plum branch, and the soil is covered over with gravel. Upright leaves above a rounded pot keep the shape tidy.
A foliage plant is the usual Korean gift for an opening or a move, and it stays where it is put for years. This one sits on a table or a shelf rather than on the floor.

A wreath stands outside on the day and announces the opening to everyone passing. A plant stays in the shop afterwards. Many people send a wreath for the day and a plant for the years after.
Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.
We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
A lady palm whose fronds split into broad fingers, each finger marked lengthwise with a yellow stripe against the green. The canes are slim and straight and several stand together in one pot, so the leaves turn around the plant and read as a circle from above. The soil is topped with small gravel. Planted in a round celadon pot with plum blossom raised on its surface.
It tolerates moderate to low light and the dry air of a heated or air-conditioned room better than most palms. Water when the top few centimetres are dry, roughly every one to two weeks, and keep it out of direct afternoon sun, which scorches the fronds.
A long-standing choice for Korean offices, lobbies and clinics, sent for openings, promotions and new premises. It is placed by the entrance or the reception desk and stays there — the gift is meant to last rather than to be admired for a day.
A printed ribbon carrying your name and the occasion phrase is attached to the pot, so please give the sender name exactly as you want it read. Delivered anywhere in South Korea within three hours, and we send you a photograph of the plant in place once it arrives. If the pot or plant size shown is unavailable on the day, we substitute the closest equivalent and tell you before we deliver.
