A needle-leaved plant whose branches ring the stem in tiers and build up into a cone.

One central stem runs straight up, and the branches widen as they go down, so the whole thing comes close to a triangle. The needles are a bright green and the branch tips droop softly.

It is planted in a white pot that flares out at the base, with brown gravel laid over the soil.

It stands well on an office floor or in a shop. Foliage plants are sent in Korea as opening gifts and left in place for several years.

Looking after it

Light Bright indoors, out of direct sun. Scorched leaves do not grow back.
Water When the top of the soil is dry, water until it runs out of the bottom. Little and often does more harm than good.

What size should I choose?

Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.

Will I know it arrived?

We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.

Can I change or cancel the order?

Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.

Araucaria A

A straight central trunk with branches coming off it in tiers, each branch densely covered in short soft needles, so the plant narrows towards the top into a cone. The tiers are spaced apart and the lower branches are the longest, which gives it the shape of a small pine tree indoors. The soil is topped with gravel. Planted in a tall white pot that tapers in at the waist.
