A peace lily, white bracts rising between dark green leaves.
The leaves are long and lance-shaped with a gloss to them, and a cream spike stands upright at the centre of each white bract. It is planted in a tall white cylinder and stands on the floor.
Unlike a foliage plant of leaves alone, there is white in it as well. In Korea a foliage plant of this sort is sent to mark an opening, and it is kept in the shop or the office for years afterwards.

A wreath stands outside on the day and announces the opening to everyone passing. A plant stays in the shop afterwards. Many people send a wreath for the day and a plant for the years after.
Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.
We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
White spathes come up one at a time above the leaves, each one a single curved white sail around a pale cream spike. The leaves are deep green, long and pointed, and spread out from the base in every direction. It prefers partial shade to direct sun, so it manages in a spot that gets little light; water generously when the surface soil has dried. Planted in a tall white cylindrical pot, which lifts the leaves well clear of the floor.
Potted plants are the usual gift when a shop, office or clinic opens in Korea. They are placed by the entrance or the reception desk and stay there — the gift is meant to last rather than to be admired for a day.
A ribbon carrying your name and the occasion phrase is attached to the pot.
Delivered anywhere in South Korea within three hours, and we send you a photograph of the plant in place once it arrives. If the pot or plant size shown is unavailable on the day, we substitute the closest equivalent and tell you before we deliver.
