Light passes through the gaps in the leaves, and a single plant is enough to change the feel of a room. Planted in a white square column pot.
It copes with a room the sun hardly reaches. Water generously when the top of the compost has dried. It grows quickly, so new leaves can be watched coming up.
A monstera is one of the plants Koreans send when a shop or an office opens, to stay there for years rather than weeks. The flower meaning is devotion.

Looking after it
- Light Bright indoors, out of direct sun. Scorched leaves do not grow back.
- Water When the top of the soil is dry, water until it runs out of the bottom. Little and often does more harm than good.
- Air Somewhere the air moves. Roots suffer in a closed corner.
- Winter Keep it above 10°C and out of the path of a heater.
- Leaves Wipe the dust off now and then. Clean leaves breathe.

A plant or a wreath for an opening?
A wreath stands outside on the day and announces the opening to everyone passing. A plant stays in the shop afterwards. Many people send a wreath for the day and a plant for the years after.
What size should I choose?
Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.
Will I know it arrived?
We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.
Can I change or cancel the order?
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
