Small glossy leaves crowding thickly above a firm woody trunk.

Nokbosu is the Korean name. The trunk sends out dense branches that fill into a rounded head, and the little leaves, waved at the edge, leave hardly a gap between them. Planted in a white cylinder pot with a wide mouth.

It is hardy and settles even into a shaded room, so it is no burden to anyone growing a plant for the first time. Water generously when the top of the compost has dried. In a dry room mist it occasionally, or wipe the dust away with a damp cloth, and the natural shine comes back.

In Korea foliage like this is sent to mark the opening of a shop or an office and stays in that room for years. The flower meaning is wealth and good fortune.

Looking after it

Light Bright indoors, out of direct sun. Scorched leaves do not grow back.
Water When the top of the soil is dry, water until it runs out of the bottom. Little and often does more harm than good.

Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
