Thick canes set at different heights, each one crowned with a bunch of leaves.
The leaves are long, with a pale yellow stripe running down the middle. Smaller bunches break out partway up the canes as well, so the plant fills evenly from the base to the crown. It is planted in a white cylindrical pot and stands on the floor.
Koreans call it haengunmok, the lucky tree, and it is one of the first things sent when a shop or an office opens. These gifts are not seasonal: the plant stays where it was delivered and is still there years later.

A wreath stands outside on the day and announces the opening to everyone passing. A plant stays in the shop afterwards. Many people send a wreath for the day and a plant for the years after.
Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.
We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
Three thick canes of different heights stand together in one pot, the bark left bare like wooden posts, with tufts of leaves breaking out at the top of each and smaller tufts lower down the stems. Each leaf carries a pale yellow stripe down the middle with deep green at the margins. Planted in a white cylindrical pot. It is tall enough to stand on the floor of an office rather than on a desk.
It copes with moderate and even fairly low light, which is why it works in an interior office with no window nearby. Let the top half of the pot dry before watering, roughly every two weeks, and less in winter. Brown leaf tips usually mean dry indoor air rather than thirst.
The name carries the wish, so it is one of the most-sent Korean opening gifts — for a shop, office or clinic, and also for a promotion or a new business. It is placed by the entrance or the reception desk and stays there — the gift is meant to last rather than to be admired for a day.
A printed ribbon carrying your name and the occasion phrase is attached to the pot, so please give the sender name exactly as you want it read. Delivered anywhere in South Korea within three hours, and we send you a photograph of the plant in place once it arrives. If the pot or plant size shown is unavailable on the day, we substitute the closest equivalent and tell you before we deliver.
