Dark green leaves stacked layer on layer give this plant a firm, close outline.

Water when the surface of the compost has dried right out, enough that it runs from the drainage hole. Once or twice a week suits most rooms, but go by the warmth and the air rather than the day of the week.

Dry or browning leaf tips mean dry air, not ill health. Mist the foliage and move the pot into bright shade and it will settle again. The plant has no tolerance for cold, so keep the room above 10°C.

We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.

Can I change or cancel the order?

Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.

Dracaena Compacta A — how to keep it

Layer upon layer of dark green leaves build a solid, compact silhouette. Water thoroughly when the surface soil has dried right through — enough that it runs from the drainage hole — usually once or twice a week, adjusted for the humidity and temperature of the room. Brown, dry leaf tips mean the air indoors is dry: mist it and move it to bright shade. It is very sensitive to cold, so do not let the temperature fall below about 10°C.
