An anthurium, a yellow spike standing in the middle of each red bract.
The leaves are broad, heart-shaped and glossy. It is planted in a white cylinder and stands on the floor.
Unlike a foliage plant of leaves alone, there is red in it as well. Koreans send plants of this kind for an opening, and they are kept in the shop or the office for years.
| Item | Foliage plant (anthurium) |
|---|---|
| Leaves | Heart-shaped, spreading wide, glossy |
| Colour | Dark green leaves, red bracts, yellow spikes |

| Size | About 1–1.3m tall |
A wreath stands outside on the day and announces the opening to everyone passing. A plant stays in the shop afterwards. Many people send a wreath for the day and a plant for the years after.
Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.
We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
A yellow spadix rises from the middle of a red bract. The leaves are broad and heart-shaped with a glossy surface. Planted in a white cylindrical pot; a floor-standing size. Unlike a plant grown for leaves alone, red goes in with the green.
Bright indirect light keeps the spathes coming; direct sun burns the leaves and deep shade stops the colour. Water when the top two centimetres are dry, about weekly, and give it humidity — a room that is not too dry, or an occasional misting — since the leaf edges brown in heated air.
The red reads as celebration, so anthuriums are a common Korean gift for a shop or restaurant opening and for a promotion. Size A is a floor or counter pot, usually placed where customers pass.
A printed ribbon carrying your name and the occasion phrase is attached to the pot, so please give the sender name exactly as you want it read. Delivered anywhere in South Korea within three hours, and we send you a photograph of the plant in place once it arrives. If the pot or plant size shown is unavailable on the day, we substitute the closest equivalent and tell you before we deliver.
