The same croton, planted instead in a tall square pot.
Green, yellow and red run through the leaves, and sitting on a dark grey square column the head comes up close to eye level. White gravel is laid over the soil.
It stands on the floor, but it is for a place that wants some height. A foliage plant is the usual Korean opening gift and is left where it is put for years.

A wreath stands outside on the day and announces the opening to everyone passing. A plant stays in the shop afterwards. Many people send a wreath for the day and a plant for the years after.
Decide where it will stand first. We have floor plants for a corner and smaller pots for a counter. Tell us the spot and we will suggest the size.
We send you a photograph once it is in place. Ask when you order if you want the room in the shot.
Until we start making it up, yes — message us on the live chat with your order number and we will change or cancel it and refund you in full. Once the florist has started, we can no longer change it.
A croton — a shrubby plant grown for its leaves, which are marked in yellow, orange, red and green, often several colours on the same leaf. It is the most colourful of the common foliage plants, so it is chosen when a plain green plant would not be enough.
Colour is a light problem, not a fertiliser problem: in a bright spot near a window the leaves stay red, orange and yellow, while in a dim corner they turn plain green. Keep the soil lightly damp and do not let it dry out completely. It dislikes cold draughts and will shed a few leaves after any move, then recover.
Sent for shop and restaurant openings in Korea, where the colour reads as celebration, and for housewarmings. Size A is a floor pot, usually stood near the entrance where people see it on the way in.
A printed ribbon carrying your name and the occasion phrase is attached to the pot, so please give the sender name exactly as you want it read. Delivered anywhere in South Korea within three hours, and we send you a photograph of the plant in place once it arrives. If the pot or plant size shown is unavailable on the day, we substitute the closest equivalent and tell you before we deliver.
